Binder Snap-In IP67 Connectors Now Available With Dip-Solder Contacts

The widely-used Series 720 range of snap-in IP67 connectors from Binder has been extended with the introduction of panel mount versions with dip-solder contacts that complement the existing solder-bucket panel mount versions and the cable and moulded connectors.

Manufactured from durable polyamide these connectors have elastomeric seals and are rated to IP67 making them ideal for a wide variety of applications including sensors, security systems, LED lighting and medical instrumentation and communications equipment.

Advanced snap-in technology offers simple, fast, convenient and secure mating for these compact and lightweight connectors, even in areas of restricted access.

Available in three, five, eight and 12-pole formats and with dip-solder termination with 3.5mm long pins, Series 720 connectors have a current rating of 7A (three-pole), 5A (five-pole) and 2A on eight and 12-pole.

Contacts are gold-plated brass on male and gold-plated bronze on female and the series has a life cycle of over 500 mating cycles. The operating temperature range is -25 to 85°C.
