System incorporates power & signal contacts into one connector

Amphenol Industrial Products Group now offers a connection system that incorporates both power and signal contacts in one connector. Amphe-RXS uses Amphenol's RADSOK terminals as power contacts and either standard or high vibration (AHVB) signal terminals to produce an all-inclusive connector.

Connectors optimised for use with low loss cables

Amphenol RF is pleased to introduce the improved SMA and N-Type coaxial connectors that have been optimised for low loss cables. Low loss cables incorporate additional shielding in the form of a bonded foil conductor, which helps to improve grounding. Low loss cables and the newly optimized connectors are matched to 50Ω impedance, allowing for maximum and reliable signal transfer.

Cable assemblies allow non-IP67 cables to be mounted to panels

Amphenol RF is pleased to introduce improved designs of the company's existing AMC to SMA cable assemblies. Design improvements were made to the SMA bulkhead mounting connectors allowing the non-IP67 cables to be mounted to panels with a maximum thickness of 3.2mm. Cables with IP67 connectors are suitable for panels with a maximum thickness of 3.2mm. Both standard polarity and reverse polarity options are available.
