A miniature version of the company’s Amphe-Mine EX connector series, Amphenol has introduced an explosion-proof, heavy duty hazardous rated connector series. Offering outstanding performance in automated process control and instrumentation systems, the Amphe-Coal EX is suited for use in classified facilities such as underground mining sites where machinery requires more power and signal in a smaller interface.

Amphenol has introduced a new line of heat shrink tubing for the electronics, energy, rail mass transit, heavy equipment, EVs/HEVs, telecommunications, mining and oil and gas markets. The Amphe-HST (Heat Shrink Tubing) is widely used in low-voltage applications and medium-voltage transmission and distribution as well as insulation protection.

Amphenol has unveiled a series of field-installable M12 screw terminal connectors in straight and right-angled versions. M12 connectors are widely used in industrial control systems, machine-building, broadband wireless access and LED lighting.

Enabling single point power delivery of 150, 200 and 300A in less than one linear inch of a PCB edge, the RadFin power connectors have been released by Amphenol Industrial Products Group. To meet the demand for high power PCBs with a small footprint, the connectors utilise RADSOK contact technology. 

Expanding the company's 9-way AT circular series receptacle line, Amphenol has added a model with a smaller flange that can be fitted to all heavy equipment vehicles. These round receptacles are suitable for use as a diagnostic connector in demanding applications found on construction and farm equipment and in heavy-duty trucks.

Designed to replace splices and provide power wherever needed, Amphenol has introduced a heavy duty connector series for sizes 8 and 12 power contacts. The single pole, rugged, in-line connection system, designated the ATHD series, uses the company's exclusive Radsok technology to reach higher amperages than other connectors in its class.

Meeting IEC50521 TUV 1500V- Class A (All Access), UL6703 1000V (Americas) and JET 1500V (Japan), the H4 UTX PV connector can be used globally. Introduced by Amphenol, the connectors are suitable for use by all PV module manufacturers, installers, developers, electrical distributors as well as inspectors, combiner box companies and engineering procurement construction firms worldwide.

A connector series that is explosion proof and certified for use in IECEx Group 1 mining hazardous locations has been launched by Amphenol Industrial Products. The heavy duty Amphe-Mine EX product line is made up of environmentally sealed plugs and receptacles, and is suited for use in underground mining explosive environments, petrochemical refineries and land and offshore drilling systems.

Amphenol Industrial Products Group is now offering a connector family with 1.5 mm socket contacts featuring Amphenol’s RADSOK technology.  Tru-Loc’s rugged, compact, thermoplastic construction makes it ideal for use in harsh environments where high vibration and caustic fluids are present.

  The United States Department of Transportation’s Buy America programme requires that transportation infrastructure projects use American-made products. Amphenol has announced that it is now participating in this programme.

Claiming to be the most durable data link connectors in its class, the Max-M12 from Amphenol fulfills SAE J2839 and IEC 61076-2-101 specifications. The connector withstands connector to cable retention forces of 444N and contact retention forces of 110N, which have been tested at 100 mating cycles minimum.

Amphenol has announced that it has incorporated its AT contact technology into the company's AT Circular thermoplastic connectors. Sealed and rated to 125ºC, the newly enhanced ATC connectors are ideal for communication and diagnostic testing in heavy duty trucks, buses, construction and agriculture equipment.

The NEPTUNE connectors from Amphenol are now listed to UL1682. With ratings from 30 A to 400 A at 600 V, the NEPTUNE connectors are offered in plugs, mount receptacles and inline receptacles.

Offering better mechanical strength than other contact systems on the market, the new RADSOK R4 is the latest version of Amphenol's RADSOK technology high current contact system. Available in board-to-board, wire-to-board and busbar-to-board configurations, RADSOK R4 is easily configured to specific application requirments and features a lower temperature rise than other traditional contact systems in its class.

Amphenol has today announced that it now offers a line of high performance, rugged and reliable underwater electrical connectors for deep submersion applications. The Submariner series of subsurface wet- and dry-mate connectors can be used in depths up to 6,000 meters (underwater pressure of up to 600 bar).

Amphenol Industrial Global Operations has introduced a low profile, quick release, high power interconnect using Amphenol’s new R4 RADSOK technology.  The new RADLOK product line provides low insertion and extraction forces with a high mating cycle rating for high power interconnects, making it perfect for frequent mating applications.

Amphenol has today announced a new line of heavy duty medium voltage couplers for use in hazardous environments. Ideal for applications in the mining, utility, tunneling and shore power industries for safe and reliable transfer of electricity throughout a job site, Amphenol’s MVC series couplers vary in voltage from 600 V to 15 kV with amperages up to 600 A.

Amphenol introduces the new heavy|mate F series, a flexible modular system. Different than the existing heavy|mate M, this line is intermateable to the market standard of rectangular connectors and to the lines of major competitors.
