diodes are installed on a circuit board. This permits even greater flexibility. The crossings of the contact bands can be done conventionally in the module or in the junction box using a crossed circuit board. The latter variant can reduce the costs of module manufacture, since no insulation needs to be laminated between the crossings of the contact bands.
There are also different variants of contacts of the bands available for selection. Depending on the production process, module manufacturers can select between clamp contacting and solder contacts. This permits adaptation to individual production requirements.
