Assembled M8 data cables with D-coding
Thanks to their compact dimensions, the new M8 connectors from Phoenix Contact let you provide the smallest devices with Ethernet and Profinet. The symmetrically arranged contacts of the D-coding provide secure data transmission. The installation space is up to 30% smaller compared to M12 connectors.
Field devices can be supplied with data and power simultaneously via Power over Ethernet. This saves even more space. A special 360° shielding ensures high electromagnetic compatibility and a robust, vibration-resistant shield connection.
The assembled M8 connectors with D coding are suitable for 100Mbps CAT5. They are PoE-capable up to four amp at a maximum of 60V. Versions with special material selection are available for railway applications.
