The high speed connector systems incorporate an ABAC (MIL-DTL-38999 series III) or AB05 (MIL-DTL-26482) derived metal shell with full 360° EMC, IP68 sealing and mechanical protection.
The connectors are supplied in pre-assembled parts rather than kit form for customer convenience. D38999 connectors are supplied with a high performance RJ connector that is matched to the D38999 housing to guarantee a high level of mechanical, environmental and electrical performance, consistent grounding and strain relief for up to 10Gb/s transmission in 10GBASE-T networks.
USB connectors are provided with a pre-assembled, matched, moulded patch cable ensuring consistent results for data rates up to 480 Mb/s associated with USB 2.0.
In addition, no tooling is required for insertion or extraction of inserts and there is no requirement for additional retention clips, adhesive patches or split O-rings.
