HARTING has added a new coaxial connector to its Quintax range of shielded data connectors for industrial applications. The new Han E-Coax is a Quintax connector with one Han-E crimp contact in the coaxial position.

It has an impedance of 50 ohms and is ideally suited to use with large-diameter coaxial cables in coaxial data systems such as the Eurobalise data transmission network used in the ETCS rail
control system.

The Han-Quintax is a very reliable shielded data connector which is widely used in industrial bus systems like Profibus and Ethernet.
