Getting started with hall-effect sensors using the MAX9921

The world that we live in today contains millions of sensors that continue to revolutionise the way we live, move and interact with each other and nowhere else have we seen the sudden rise more than in our automobiles.

In this video, Jesvin Jimmy, Applications Engineer from Maxim Integrated explains the hall effect and how hall-effect sensors can be useful in applications that require contactless sensors such as an automatic door opener.

He then demonstrates the MAX9921, which is the industry’s first two-wire hall-effect sensor.
