On The Road To Accident-Free Driving – Bosch Is Networking And Automating Vehicles
Gerhard Steiger, President of Chassis Systems Control, and Dr. Michael Bolle, Executive Vice President Engineering Car Multimedia, at the 61st Automotive Press Briefing in Boxberg, June 2013 All the forecasts agree: the number of vehicles manufactured worldwide will continue to increase, and traffic density with it. Nonetheless, a raft of measures introduced over the past few years have succeeded in significantly reducing the number of road d...
Imec presents 4K2K CMOS image sensor together with Panasonic
Imec presents a CMOS image sensor capable of capturing 12-bit 4,000x2,000pixel progressive images at 60 frames per second. Based on a stagger-laced dual exposure, the image sensor developed with Panasonic, was processed using imec’s 130nm CMOS process on 200mm silicon wafers to deliver high-speed and high-quality imaging, at reduced output bit rate.
SMD pressure sensors for medical technology and pneumatics with a linearised output signal
The smallest pressure sensor from Fujikura has “dream dimensions” of 7 x 7 x 6.5 mm, is named the FGM and can be delivered with a measuring range of 0 - 140 mbar up to 10 bar in various subranges. The least expensive FGM model has a Wheatstone bridge which delivers a non-compensated output signal of approximately 100 mV when fed with a constant current of 1.5 mA. With the most convenient version, the XFGM, there is an ASIC directly on the sil...
