Target simulator for 4D radar sensors sets new standards
dSPACE has announced that it is aiming to set new standards for testing of 4D radar sensors with a new target simulator. The DARTS 9040-G is the first simulator worldwide to process multiple radar signals simultaneously with a bandwidth of up to 5GHz. It allows for the reliable and efficient development of cutting-edge, high-resolution radar sensors for driver assistance systems and autonomous driving.
Airthings launches Mould Risk Indication for its Wave Mini
Airthings officially debuts a new capability to its existing air quality monitor, Wave Mini. Beginning today, all Wave Mini devices, including those already in use, will now include mould risk indication. This Airthings-made algorithm uses existing sensors and historical data to inform of the likelihood of mould growth in an indoor location.
Automated test equipment dedicated to 3D magnetic sensors
Hprobe has announced the first industry turnkey testing equipment dedicated to 3D magnetic sensors used in both automotive and industrial applications. The equipment is based on Hprobe’ s unique 3D magnetic field generator technology for single and multi-site testing at wafer-level, under magnetic field.
Air quality sensor helps cut power consumption
The SGP40 indoor air quality sensor from Sensirion is now being shipped by distributor Mouser Electronics.
LMI 2400 Series of 3D line profile sensors extended
LMI Technologies (LMI) has announced the release of Gocator 2430/2440/2450 blue laser line profile sensors. The latest addition to LMI’s popular 2400 series, these new blue laser models are designed for 3D scanning of shiny metal surfaces in electric vehicle (EV) battery inspection, rail inspection (rail geometry), small to medium-size electronic and automotive parts, and general factory automation applications.
NTC thermistor is accurate to ± 0.5 °C
A new epoxy-coated NTC thermistor with long PEEK-insulated, nickel-iron (NiFe) leads and a low thermal gradient for fast, high accuracy temperature measurement, sensing, and control in automotive and industrial applications has been introduced by Vishay Intertechnology.
MAX25205 enables dynamic gesture sensing for automotive
Designers of automotive systems can now add dynamic hand-gesture controls with greater ease at a low cost and small size with the MAX25205 data acquisition system from Maxim Integrated Products. Featuring integrated optics and a 6x10 infrared (IR) sensor array, the MAX25205 detects swipe and hand-rotation gestures without the complexity of time-of-flight (ToF) cameras at a lower cost and up to 75% smaller size.
Humidity sensors offer typical accuracy of ±0.2 degrees
The new HTU31 relative humidity sensors from TE Connectivity (TE), is now being shipped by distributor Mouser Electronics.
