SiC & GaN power technologies to grow 30% annually

IGBT enables more compact product designs
The TO-247PLUS package has been introduced by Infineon Technologies, expanding its discrete IGBT portfolio for high power applications. The package, which has the same footprint and pin-out as JEDEC standard TO-247-3, enables up to 120A IGBT co-packed with a full rated diode.

A 5W series of low ripple and noise DC/DC converters, offered in a six-sided shielded metal DIP-24 package, has been released by Power Sources Unlimited. The TVN 5WI series, which is an expansion of the company's TRACO Power portfolio, offers two ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage ranges of 9-36 and 18-75VDC with both single (3.3, 5, 12, 15 and 24VDC) or dual (±5, ±12, ±15 and ±24VDC) output voltages.
