Resistors for rugged applications
Ohmite’s new G Series capacitor discharge and symmetry resistor range has been specially designed to handle the requirements of repetitive pulse loading, the G Series provides high power dissipation up to 13W at 25°C.
Corrosion resistant terminals provide a long life expectancy and the superior vibration resistance of the G Series makes it ideal for rugged applications such as bleeder resistors for screw terminal capacitors. The offset terminals allow easy access to the capacitor screws and the hole spacing matches up with most manufacturers’ designs.
The resistors have an IEC 115-1 Reference Standard and an operating temperature range of -55°C to 200°C. Available in 10 and 13W ratings, the components have ohmic range of 1Ω to 82K and 1Ω to 120k respectively.
The outstanding terminal strength of the G Series is >25N and the derating values are 25°C to 350°C, linearly. TCR is ±100 ppm/°C and tolerance is 1%.
