Rutronik has introduced SECH's latest ultracapacitors to its portfolio, featuring advanced materials and patented manufacturing processes for superior performance at a competitive price.

These capacitors, suitable for PCB soldering, offer exceptional energy and power density compared to similar components. Available in standard industry sizes with capacitances ranging from 3F to 100F, they maintain high energy efficiency even under demanding charging and discharging conditions. Compliant with industry standards like AEC-Q200, ISO16750-3, and SAE 2464, they find applications across industries and automotive sectors.

The anti-wetting ultracacpitors adhere to industry-standard sizes and operate reliably within a temperature span of -40°C to +65°C. With a cycle stability of up to 500,000 cycles, they boast an extended service life. Offering capacities between 3F and 100F and featuring low equivalent series resistance (ESR), they stand out with a nominal cell voltage of 3V. SECH ultracapacitors excel in energy and power density (up to 6 Wh/kg or up to 7 kW/kg), allowing rapid charging and discharging while serving as efficient power backups.

Key benefits:

  • State-of-the-art 3 V cell voltage
  • Capacities ranging from 3F to 100F
  • Low ESR
  • High cycle stability of 500,000 cycles
  • Extended DC service life
  • Compact and lightweight design
  • PCB solderability
  • Stable performance across a wide temperature range (-40°C to +65°C)
  • Competitive price-performance ratio

Application examples include the automotive industry, including electric vehicles; smart metering, emergency power supply and for connectivity purposes like GPS trackers and GSM devices.
