The small LC-LMD-650-12 laser modules are coaxially aligned models that are available as part of our LMD low-cost laser module series. While the housing and the beam axis of standard products often differ by several degrees, the maximum angular error of the new LC-LMD-650-12 modules is ± 0.05°.
This property speeds up assembly time. In light curtains, for example, each module no longer has to be aligned to match the photocell on the opposite side. It is usually enough to position the module mount once. The laser modules then only have to be placed into the mount and soldered.
The lasers also feature small dimensions. They have a length of 15.50 ± 0.05 mm; the diameter is 10.00 ± 0.05 mm.
This type of module is available with an output power of less than 1 mW and less than 5 mW. The wavelength is 650 nm, and the operating voltage is 3 VDC.
