LASER COMPONENTS offers Diffractive Optical Elements (DOEs) for extending the depth of focus of a laser, while maintaining a high lateral resolution.
A long depth of focus combined with a small beam waist are perfect conditions for laser drilling and cutting transparent materials such as glass and silica.
These two conditions cannot be achieved simultaneously using conventional lenses and mirrors making an elongated focus DOE a solution for these applications.
A standard range of elongated and multi-focus DOEs are available for quick delivery.
Products may also be customised to suit any application.
