EV34C3 and EV34C6 - Ecliptek Introduces New 2.5V Ceramic SMD Voltage Controlled Oscillators

Ecliptek Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of two new LVCMOS six pad surface mount low profile 5.0mm x 7.0mm voltage controlled crystal oscillators to its existing product line. These new product series enhance Ecliptek's ability to offer its customers a voltage controlled solution for clock recovery and frequency synchronization applications.

The new EV34C3 and EV34C6 series are available with a power supply of 2.5V and a frequency range from 1.544MHz to 77.760MHz. Features include an absolute pull range (APR) of 100ppm, a tri-state function, commercial or industrial temperature ranges, and tightened linearity. Standard shipment packaging is available in carrier tape and reel.

The use of a fundamental mode bulk acoustic wave resonator crystal allows this product series to offer superior phase noise and frequency stability performance, said Thomas Culhane, Vice President of Engineering at Ecliptek Corporation.

These Ecliptek VCXO series provide a low jitter, low phase noise source needed for high performance applications such as Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL and HDSL), Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC), MPEG Video, ATM/SONET/ SDH, Gigabit Ethernet, PCI Express, and Fiber Channel.
