Keep Your Network Connected with Moxa’s Shock-resistant, Dual RF Wireless Module
Moxa is releasing a new model in its AWK-5222 series: a shock-resistant, 3-in-1 wireless AP/bridge/client that provides dependable wireless coverage for harsh, indoor industrial environments. The rugged exterior casing of the new AWK-5222-M12 houses industry-leading redundancy technology, and features Moxa’s carefully designed M12 ports to deliver persistent wireless coverage you can count on for those mission-critical applications.
Connector Saver with Stainless Steel Coupling Nut Reduces Testing Expense
7-16 DIN CONNECTORS are large format 50 ohm interfaces designed for high power wireless telecommunications applications such as antennas, base stations, and satellite communications. Test ports are subject to minimal wear each time the connector interface is coupled and de-coupled. Contact pins and dielectrics can be damaged if connectors are misaligned during coupling.
Fox's New Compact, Extended Temperature Oscillators Provide Jitter under 1 pS RMS for Extreme Industrial Applications
Fox Electronics has expanded its line of XpressO configurable crystal oscillators with an extended temperature version of its 3.3 V HCMOS oscillator in a compact 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm package. Part of the FXO-HC33 series, the new oscillator can withstand temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, while delivering tight stabilities down to ±50 ppm.
RFMD Adds Four New High Linearity, Low Noise I/Q Converters for 9-16GHz Applications
Four new MMIC Upconverter and Downconverter devices from RFMD offer high performance and low cost for high frequency applications. The RFUV1002 and RFUV1003 Upconverters incorporate an image rejection mixer, LO buffer amplifier, variable gain amplifier, and DC-decoupling capacitor. The RFRX1001 and RFRX1002 Downconverters incorporate an image rejection mixer, LO buffer amplifier, integrated LNA, and DC-decoupling capacitor.
Atmel 2.4GHz Low-Power RF Transceiver Redefines Lowest Power Consumption for Industrial Applications
Atmel Corporation today announced a new RF transceiver for battery-operated wireless applications. The Atmel AT86RF233 transceiver is optimized for industrial and consumer products that comply with ZigBee/IEEE 802.15.4, IPv6 over low-power wireless personal area networks (6LoWPAN) and high data rate 2.4GHz industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) band applications.
Highly Integrated IC Solution for Low Cost 60 GHz Radio Applications
Hittite Microwave Corporation announces the release of the highly integrated HMC6000 and HMC6001 silicon transceiver chipset which targets 60 GHz applications such as: metrocell/picocell backhaul, WiGig (IEEE 802.11ad) multi-Gbps solutions including wireless cable replacement (HDMI, USB 3.0, DisplayPort), wireless docking stations, video/magazine kiosks and wireless sensors.
RFVC183x and RFVC184x Series Narrowband MMIC VCOs with Integrated Dividers
RFMD’s new GaAs InGaP RFVC183x and RFVC184x series MMIC VCOs offer low phase noise and include integrated frequency dividers for Fo/2 and Fo/4 output frequency, as well as integrated RF output buffer amplifiers. VCOs in this family offer narrowband operation ranges within the 7GHz to 15GHz band. They operate from a single positive supply voltage and deliver low phase noise performance with minimum power consumption. Each comes in a compact RoHS...
Adapting to a multi-band future
Mobile data services are experiencing a period of exponential growth, driven by enthusiastic adoption of smartphones and tablets in the consumer market, and expansion of applications for mobile usage, such as social networking, mobile video and video calling. Some estimates anticipate that 1.3 exabytes of data traffic will pass through the network in 2012 (‘exa’ denotes a multiplier of 1018, equivalent to 1million terabytes), with no ...
First Open-Ended RF Sleeve for Frequencies in UHF to Microwave
The Venti RF suppression sleeve is a patent-pending EMI/RFI solution that replaces the need for higher costing 1/4 wave chokes, stubs and ferrite cores. The Venti sleeve is effective at 2.4 and 5 GHz and all other frequencies above 1 GHz, opening up a whole new world for product designers and engineers that was not previously available. A small form, low labor replacement for current EMI/RFI alternatives available today, the Venti sleeve is perfe...
Industry’s First Half Watt RF Driver Amplifier with Dynamically Adjustable Bias and Extended Temperature Range
To meet the needs of today’s radio and RF communication equipment designers, Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) today introduced the ADL5324 half-Watt RF driver amplifier. When compared to other RF driver amplifiers, the ADL5324 offers superior power efficiency and temperature tolerance. The ADL5324 operates over a wide temperature range (-40°C to +105°C), and can be biased to operate on less power.
