Linx Technologies introduces Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 adhesive flexible printed circuit antenna series

Linx Technologies (Linx), now part of TE Connectivity, a developer and manufacturer of antennas and connectors, is pleased to introduce a series of adhesive flexible printed circuit (FPC) antennas for Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7 applications in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands.

The FPC antennas provide a ground plane independent dipole internal/embedded antenna solution and feature a compact, low-profile design. Expanding upon their portfolio of FPC antennas, the new series from Linx adds a range of options to meet the needs of many different Internet of Things (IoT), ISM, and Wi-Fi applications. This high-performance family of antennas provides an assortment of size and configuration options, with various connector and cable length options.

“With the continued expansion of Wi-Fi 6 and 6E, and the introduction of the new Wi-Fi 7 standard, our customers will be better prepared to meet the growing demand for increased signal coverage and faster connections,” said Rick Stuby, VP of Product Management. With a flexible, adhesive backing, the antennas offer user friendly mounting options to secure in unique and custom enclosures and are designed to be fitted into an environmentally sealed enclosure for added protection.

The new Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 FPC antennas are available now via Linx Technologies’ distributor and manufacturer representative networks.
