As the manufacturer behind such powerful international cable brands as ÖLFLEX flexible control cables, EPIC industrial connectors and SKINTOP cable glands, Lapp is at the forefront of cabling technology, with solutions for almost every application, from mechanical engineering, automation, and robotics, to building services and data transmission.
According to Matt Ansell, Lapp’s Product Marketing Manager, new products on show will include a control cable for use in very cold environments, a new rubber sheathed cable designed to withstand the twisting associated with wind turbines and a cable for roof to cellar solar panel applications.
Scheduled to be introduced at M&E 2008 are new additions to the ÖLFLEX CLASSIC 130 H and 135 CH range of cables. The range now includes a higher voltage version which is now rated up to 600/1000V and is available in a black outer sheath. With colour coded cores for cables up to 5 core and number coded on 7 core and above, the new cables are ideally suited for power and control in areas where human life as well as valuable property are exposed to high risk of fire hazards. A copper braided screen version for EMC critical environments will also be introduced.
