Miniature push/pull connectors can take full immersion.
New from international assembling distributor PEI-Genesis is the Amphenol SCE series of miniature push/pull connectors, which offer an environmental protection rating of IP68 and are therefore ideal for use in applications where they may be subjected to full immersion.
GTK to supply latest HDMI technology cables
HDMI cables are now available from connector and cable assembly specialist GTK. HDMI technology integrates all video and sound signals onto a single, thin cable, making it easy to connect components together. In addition, everything on an HDMI cable assembly remains in its original, uncompressed digital format: signals are no longer converted from digital to analog (in order to run through the cables) and then back to digital.
8 port USB to serial adapters
Sealevel Systems has announced two additions to the popular SeaLINK USB to serial product line, the SeaLINK+8/232.RJ and the SeaLINK+8.VC. Offering eight independent serial ports, SeaLINK+8 devices are the perfect way to connect RS-232 and RS-485 peripherals such as barcode scanners, serial displays, and data acquisition modules to any USB port.
Magnetic filtered RJ45 modular jacks
Connector and LED specialist GTK has just released its new line of magnetic filtered RJ45 modular jacks for high-speed Ethernet data applications. Devices offer improved electrical performance with a maximum contact resistance of 30mΩ at 100mA DC and a minimum insulation resistance at 1000MΩ at 500V DC. Current rating is 3A, with parts operating between -55 and 105degC.
5-row Type C female connector
HARTING has added a 5-row Type C female connector to its family of DIN 41612 products, rounding off its range of devices for applications based on the VME64x Bus. The new straight female connector has 160 press-in pins, and complements the HARTING range of VME64x shrouds.
Rugged Circular Push-Pull Connectors
New from international connector distributor PEI-Genesis is the Amphenol ECTA 133 series of circular connectors, which offer a rugged design and convenient push-pull operation, making them ideal for use in a wide variety of industrial, automotive and rail applications.
Right-Angle Connector has Swivel base
Lapp has added two new connectors to its EPIC range. For use by machine tool, motion drive and robotics manufacturers the CIRCON LS1 A3 is suitable for power connections and the CIRCON M23 A3 is for data and control signals. Both are said to be unique in the market because of their patented swivel base. Right-angled connectors are commonly used in the manufacture of industrial systems to save space. In many cases final assembly of complete system...
