PowerLock Box from ITT Interconnect Solutions utilises less rack space
ITT Interconnect Solutions recently introduced the new cost effective PowerLock Box utilising only 2U of rack space in a 19in rack. The PowerLock Box offers the same sequential mating facility (ensuring ground is connected first) as the previous NRG Box and is offered in 2 versions, a fully sealed version with a lid covering the connector ports, and a standard version, which is sealed only when connectors are mated.

Tyco Electronics adds wire-to-board capability to LED connector line
Tyco Electronics has introduced wire-to-board plug connectors and board-to-board connectors to its family of hermaphroditic blade and receptacle connectors. The connectors are designed to make connecting of aluminium-clad printed circuit boards, commonly used for LED lighting applications that include lighting controls and LED light modules, faster and easier.

Frame kits and connectors from ITT Interconnect meet new CFast standard for faster storage speeds
To support the new CFast standard for faster storage speeds, ITT Interconnect Solutions has designed a complete new line of two piece, ultrasonic, weld frame kits. The frame kits conform to both Type I and Type II CFast specifications. In addition, 24 pin CFast surface mount connectors, that can be easily customised to meet unique off-sets specified by the designer, are available through ITT Interconnect Solutions.
CAT6 and CAT5e RJ45 Connectors from Switchcraft
American connector specialist Switchcraft has expanded its popular and versatile EH Series range by adding feedthrough connectors for CAT6 and CAT5e applications. Fitted inside housings that mount into 24mm diameter (XLR size) panel cut outs, the new connectors can be supplied with shielded and unshielded feedthrough adapters and all versions comply with TIA/EIA 568B standards. Other features include gold-plated contacts.
