Molex zCD Interconnect Solves Next-Generation Data Transmission Requirements
Molex Incorporated has developed the compact zCD interconnect system to support next generation applications in telecommunications, networking and enterprise computing environments. The Molex zCD interconnect system will transmit 400 Gbps data rates (25 Gbps over 16 lanes) with excellent signal integrity, electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection and thermal cooling properties.
Connectors enhanced with 3 & 4 pole cabinet lead-throughs
Delivering a mating cycle rating in excess of 100, Binder have enhanced their range of M8 connectors with three and four pole cabinet lead-throughs.
Industrial connectivity boosted with high-temp connectors
At Drives & Controls 2014, HARTING will be introducing families of high-temperature connectors and devices with high mating cycles, plus interconnectivity products for smart network infrastructures and smart power systems within the industrial environment.
Wire clip eases congested connector cable areas
KEC, the Aldermaston based EMC interconnect specialist, as a UK partner company to Provertha Connectors, now stocks the Provertha WireClip connector that includes a patented solder aid with a specially produced plastic assembly. Available either as a board-to-board connector or in a board-to-connector version the Provertha WireClip is extremely simple to use.
Saf-D-Grid DC power connectors are now halogen free
In order to help equipment manufacturers meet eco-friendly requirements, Anderson Power Products have announced that the Saf-D-Grid Ultra Short Receptacle connectors are now being manufactured in a halogen free, high temperature housing material. The company believe that Saf-D-Grid is the only connector system so sized that is UL rated for safe disconnect of a 400V DC, 20A load.
Connectors for 380-400V DC power distribution systems
Building on the proven contact technology used in the company's SB and Powerpole connectors, Anderson Power Products announce the Saf-D-Grid Ultra Short Receptacle. These connectors are suitable for use as a safe appliance power connector for server, telecommunication, and other devices up to 600V DC.
Connector enables high speed board-to-cable connections
Featuring an adapter glued to the FFC/FPC, the HF512S high speed connector series expands the Non-ZIF connector family and extends Yamaichi's FFC/FPC connector offering. The addition of the HF512S to the Non-ZIF connector family primarily means quick, reliable assembly of the FFC/FPC without opening/closing a flap or drawer as conventional zero-force connectors require.
Special connectors developed for automotive applications
Focusing on the interests of the automotive industry, PROVERTHA Automotive Solutions is an independent business unit of PROVERTHA. It develops and produces components and assembly units and specialises in the production of connectors, assembly units in the area of plastics technology and complex cable assemblies.
Sleek and user-friendly website for custom cables
Following a complete overhaul, Cables Unlimited announce the launch of the company's new website (cables-unlimited.com) which features new design, navigation, and fresh content to create a streamlined and more user-friendly interface for researching products and services, learning about the company, and submitting custom requests.
Connection problems solved with gender changers
Following significant customer and industry feedback, Actisense have diversified their range of cable assemblies, expanding their NMEA 2000 networking range. Fully certified, the cables address the problem of connecting two devices or cables which have the same gender of connector on an NMEA 2000 backbone. The Actisense Gender Changers (A2K-GC) can be used between two connectors of the same gender, enabling installers to overcome this problem. &...
