Ultra low noise DC/DC converter in compact SIP-8 package
TRACO POWER has announced the release of its TVN 3 family of 3W low noise DC/DC converters in a compact SIP-8 package measuring only 0.86x0.38x0.44”. Maximum output ripple of 15mV pk-pk or down to 10mV pk-pk with a 10µF capacitor make these suitable for pro-audio, test equipment and applications that are noise sensitive.
The TVN 3 family consists of 36 standard models offering input ranges of 4.5~13.2/9~18/18~36/36~72VDC; and output voltages of 3.3/5/9/12/15/24/±5/±12/±15VDC.
They provide an isolation voltage of 1,600VDC with tightly regulated outputs. Apart from the standard 2:1 input voltage range, the low input voltage models feature an extended input voltage range from 4.5-13.2VDC (3:1).
Additional features include: full load operation up to 75°C (up to 90°C with 50% derating); short circuit protection; they meet EN 55032 for conducted class A or class B with external components and no minimum load required.
Units are manufactured to IEC 60950-1 standards, qualified to MIL-STD-810F thermal shock and vibration standards, are Reach/RoHS compliant and supported with a three year warranty.
