The Qi-compliant transmitter and receiver reference kits deliver plug-and-play ease of integration, enabling engineers to incorporate wireless charging capabilities into their designs in a matter of hours.
TIA targets GPON optical network unit equipment
Designed for GPON Optical Network Unit (ONU) equipment, the M02027 TIA has been introduced by M/A-COM Technology Solutions (MACOM). The device enables GPON receivers to utilise lower cost PIN photodiodes while offering performance margin in the stringent GPON BOSA-on-Board environment. Offering outstanding power dissipation, the TIA delivers high sensitivity with PIN photodiodes and wide dynamic operating range.
The world's first recycled batteries
Energizer has challenged what was thought impossible in the battery industry with its latest breakthrough, Energizer EcoAdvanced, the world’s first AA battery made with 4% recycled batteries. Energizer EcoAdvanced is Energizer’s highest performing alkaline battery and powers consumers’ most critical devices with less impact on the planet.
120W planar transformers suit active clamp forward topology
Optimised for active clamp forward converters, including use in PoE PSE and pre-standard PD devices, Coilcraft has introduced the PoE120PL series of high-efficiency planar transformers. The series is suitable for 60-120W applications such as thin clients, monitors, industrial Ethernet, IPTV, building management, nurse call systems, point-of-sale terminals and information kiosks. They are also suited for 90W PoE++ PDs.
Buck regulator offers industry-high power conversion efficiency
Analog Devices has introduced an ultralow power buck regulator that extends battery life in portable devices by achieving the industry’s highest ultra-light-load power conversion efficiency. With a 90% efficiency rating and consuming only 180nA quiescent current, the ADP5301 buck regulator is designed to deliver maximum power for a longer period of time than previously achievable.
Continuous 225W at natural convection
A series of AC/DC single output open frame converters for in-design in medical type BF applications has been released by Powerbox. The OFM225 is designed for a continuous output power of 225W at natural convection and 40ºC ambient temperature, increasing to 325W continuous at 12 CFM forced air cooling.
