This November, Electronic Specifier’s Women in Tech forum returns to electronica for a morning of insight, influential networking, and inspiring conversations. Whether you’re building your career, leading a team, or shaping company strategy, this is a session designed to leave you with something to act on, long after the forum has ended.
Where does industry really stand?
The morning opens at 9.30am with a keynote from Jackie Mattox, CEO of WE United. Mattox will share the findings of the inaugural ‘Lead Forward Report’, which looks at six areas of leadership progression: representation, compensation, workforce participation, corporate initiatives, access to capital, and policy. You’ll leave with a benchmark for where the electronics industry actually stands, not just where it says it stands.
A panel unpacking progression in plain speak
Next, our Managing Editor, Paige Hookway, takes to the stage to moderate the Women in Tech panel, with Andrea Klein (Founder and CEO, Rand Technologies), Thomas Dudenhoeffer (SVP Human Resources, TTI Europe), and Carolina Tejle Hartmann (Germany and India Controller, Texas Instruments). During this session, you can expect an honest look at where the representation gap persists, which KPIs make a difference, and what accountability looks like when commitments are backed by action, not just good intentions. You will also hear practical approaches to building high-performing, balanced teams.
Quickfire lessons from the top
At 11.30am, industry leaders share short, sharp lessons built for people who want practicality as well as inspiration to go away with.
Dan Deisz, VP, Design Technology, Rochester Electronics, will share his perspective on semiconductor chip design and why he has a gender-balanced staff.
Kristina Hodgson, Director of Digital Marketing & Communications, Littelfuse, will talk about how tech doesn’t start and end in a lab, and neither should representation. She will share how meaningful inclusion means that the whole value chain must be representative, not only technical roles.
Keep the conversation going
The morning ends with a dedicated networking session at 12.30pm, which is a great opportunity to follow up with panellists and peers face to face.
