As the semiconductor industry navigates an unprecedented year with projections of steady growth, the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) expands its board of directors with the appointment of Hidetoshi Shibata, President and CEO of Renesas Electronics.

Electrolube has announced the appointment of Carolyn McAllister as European Sales Manager. With a degree in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham, McAllister joined the company six years ago and initially worked as part of the Research and Development team, working closely with Electrolube’s Technical Director of Coatings, Phil Kinner, to develop some cutting edge Conformal Coating solutions for the market.

Jorg Heid has joined Ismosys as General Manager for Central Europe which includes the DACH region and all countries of the former Eastern European block up to the Russian border.

As president, Blomqvist will be responsible for enhancing Sandvik Coromant’s position in manufacturing tools and machining solutions and sharing the knowledge that drives the manufacturing industry forward. Blomqvist will report to the newly appointed President of Sandvik Machining Solutions, Nadine Crauwels, and will be a member of the Sandvik Machining Solutions Management Team. She starts her new position on 1st December 2020.

Pailton Engineering has appointed Stephen Moore as its new Business Development Manager. Moore brings with him over 20 years of experience in mechanical and design engineering roles and commercial positions. Merging an engineer’s mind with sales proficiency, Moore is set to nurture and expand Pailton Engineering’s customer portfolio.

Wind River has announced three new executive appointments: Cyra Richardson as Chief Product Officer, Michael Gale as Chief Marketing Officer, and Paul Miller as Chief Technology Officer. The new Executive Leadership Team members bring to the company decades of combined expertise in AI, 5G, and digital transformation.

Digital supply chain solutions provider Sourceability has appointed Kevin Wang as Managing Director for APAC, ushering in a renewed focus and support for the region.

Cox Powertrain, a British manufacturer of high powered diesel outboard engines for the global marine industry, has announced that Hugh Hudleston has joined as Head of Sales. He is responsible for the sales and distribution of the innovative CXO300 diesel outboard motor and managing Cox’s key relationships with its network of 35 distributors across the US, UK, Europe and Asia.

Global composites technology company, Exel Composites, has appointed Jens Hanusch as its Head of Sales for the North, East and Central Europe regions. Based in Germany, Hanusch will support the global sales team to increase Exel’s relationships with European customers and create strong partnerships.

Synopsys has announced that Shankar Krishnamoorthy has been promoted to GM of the Digital Design Group. Krishnamoorthy, who rejoined Synopsys in 2017, is an electronic design automation veteran with 25 years of experience bringing to market high-value, market-leading physical design and logic synthesis solutions.
