GKN Automotive has announced Dirk Kesselgruber as the new President of its ePowertrain division. Kesselgruber will be tasked with boosting the already rapidly expanding GKN eDrive business. He reports directly to GKN Automotive’s Chief Executive Officer, Liam Butterworth and joins from Schaeffler AG, where he was President of the Chassis Systems business. 

Synopsys has announced that Sassine Ghazi has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer. Ghazi, who joined Synopsys in 1998, brings multiple decades of experience in chip design, applications engineering, customer support, sales, and business management.

Texas Instruments has promoted Haviv Ilan to executive vice president (EVP) and chief operating officer (COO).

BOFA International has appointed Douglas Gray as International Sales Manager to support the company’s growing success in overseas markets. Douglas has more than 20 years’ experience in industrial sales, the last 15 of which have been with companies in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Allegro MicroSystems has announced that Chris Brown has joined the executive leadership team as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary. Chris is the successor to Richard Kneeland, Allegro’s General Counsel since 2007, who has transitioned to the role of Senior Vice President, Special Counsel and Corporate Secretary supporting specific corporate activities.

Pre-Switch has announced Andre Willis as VP of Engineering. Previously a founder of HiQ Solar, the designers and developers of award-winning SiC inverter solutions, Willis is an inventor and creator with over 30 years power design experience.

Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR) hasannounced the appointment of Søren E. Nielsen as the new president of the Denmark-based company. Effective August 1st, Nielsen, who has served as MiR’s chief technology officer since January 2018, will take over the responsibilities of MiR co-founder and CEO Thomas Visti.

Pyreos has announced the appointment of Ian Jenks as its new non-executive chairman with effect from the 28th May. He succeeds Howard Ford, who is leaving after seven years in the role. Ian’s appointment is the latest part of a long-term plan to increase international semiconductor and photonics experience on the board.
