The conference program committee of Wireless Congress 2006 (November 15 and 16) announces its Call for Papers for this year’s event. Wireless Congress 2006 will be staged as the main highlight of the Wireless Communications User Forum at electronica 2006 (Nov 14 –17).
The congress will focus on all technical aspects of current and future wireless technologies - primarily for industrial use - and will also offer an insight into today’s applications, security questions, certification and approval problems, test & measurement, standards and market opportunities.

The conference will major on systems design and applications and is open to all experts within the global wireless communications industry. Preference will be given to those presenters who will provide practical help and solutions for today’s wireless applications as well as those whose papers will inform designers preparing for the future.

Wireless technology is one of the industry’s fastest growing sectors. Continued Innovation in components, modules and entire systems is matched only by the growth of new applications for wireless-based products. As a result, there is a constant demand for information from developers and system designers working on next generation wireless solutions.

The Program Committee has decided that the conference will be divided into the following topics: ZigBee/ZWAVE – chips and system applications, Bluetooth – new applications, Wireless automation and m2m – components, modules and systems, Wireless sensor technology and sensor networks, UWB – broadband data transmission, SRD / ISM-radios: wireless for industrial use, WiMAX – high speed for long distances, Software defined radio – fundamentals, development trends, Wireless systems – qualification, certification, approval, Interoperability / Coexistence of Wireless sensor networks and systems, Security threats and countermeasures in wireless deployments, NFC / RFID – new applications, 3G/4G/GSM/UMTS mobile telephony, RF test & measurement, EMC technology, problems and solutions, WLAN – new technologies, standards and applications, Wireless system development and integration into legacy Industrial Systems

All presentations will be in English and those interested in presenting a paper can download full details and a submission form at www.wireless-congress.com

Final date for submission is June 15, 2006.
