Two new distributor appointments in Taiwan for Energy Micro

Energy Micro, the energy friendly microcontroller and radio company, has announced the appointment of two new distributors for Taiwan. Maxtek Technology and Retronix Technology will support Energy Micro’s complete portfolio of energy friendly ARM® Cortex™ based EFM32 Gecko MCUs and EFR4 Draco RF transceivers for ultra low power applications.
Located in Taipei, Maxtek has operated as a dedicated distributor of electronic components since 1992. The company provides complete distribution solutions to support customer development in application areas such as energy metering, building automation, security, portable medical equipment, and portable consumer electronics products.

Also based in Taipei, Retronix is a value added reseller of electronic components, providing distribution and design services in Taiwan and Greater China since 2007. With strong engineering and integration capabilities, the company has worked with many semiconductor vendors in areas such as digital TV, multimedia processing and industrial control.

Jeff Su, Energy Micro’s newly appointed Sales Director for Greater China said, “ Energy efficiency is a rapidly growing trend in electronic product design and Energy Micro’s ultra low power microcontroller and RF solutions offer many power saving advantages.
