New from Link Microtek is a solid-state high-power amplifier module that has been designed for broadband linear applications at UHF and VHF frequencies. Manufactured by Empower, the BBM2E3KKO module is particularly suitable for applications such as mobile jamming, which require high efficiency, long-term reliability and ruggedness.
The amplifier module has an operating frequency range of 20 to 520MHz and achieves an output of 100W with low distortion, Class AB linearity and wide dynamic range.

Operating from a 28VDC supply, the module has a typical noise figure of 7dB at minimum attenuation, while its TOIP is specified as +56dBm. Built-in control and monitoring circuits provide protection against input overdrive, any load VSWR and thermal overload.

With overall dimensions of only 163 x 86 x 28mm, the BBM2E3KKO module weighs just 454g and has an operating temperature range of -40 to +85degC.
