Panasonic Selects NXP Silicon Tuner for Blu-ray Disc Recorder
NXP Semiconductors today announced that Panasonic has selected NXP's industry leading DVB-T silicon tuners for terrestrial broadcasting reception in its high-end Blu-ray disc recorders. Panasonic Blu-ray recorders take advantage of the tuner's ability to deliver high-quality digital TV reception in one small solution.

Dedicated to the European terrestrial standard DVB-T, the tuner reduces overall system cost and cuts design cycles, enabling faster time-to-market while meeting the market's demanding performance and application requirements.
