Express Logic to Sponsor Renesas Technology’s U.S. Developers’ Conference

Express Logic’s ThreadX RTOS is a small, fast, royalty-free RTOS for Renesas SuperH processors. Supporting SH-2, SH-2A, SH3, SH3-DSP, SH-4, and SH-4A processors, ThreadX offers developers the ability to select the best Renesas processor for their application needs. RTOS aware debugging is fully integrated into Renesas’ high-performance Embedded Workbench development tool IDE, making a ThreadX application development fast and easy.

Hosted by the world’s largest MCU supplier, the two-and-a-half-day technology conference gives system designers developing embedded systems special access to the latest advances in microprocessor and microcontroller technology, as well as practical solutions that can be applied to accelerate and improve their engineering projects. The event consists of about 80 courses on a wide range of hot topics, ranging from robust CAN connectivity for networked embedded systems, direct-drive solutions for TFT LCD panels in consumer electronics products, motor control methods for home appliances, to FlexRay technology and hybrid vehicles. Content-rich lectures and hands-on laboratory sessions will be led by embedded systems experts from Renesas and technology partners from a large support community of third-party suppliers. About 250-300 are expected to attend the event. Similar events will be hosted in Europe, Japan and Asia in the near future.
