Exhibitors from 25 countries took part in the show with Germany, UK, Taiwan, Singapore and China taking their own pavilions. Companies including Siemens, Infineon, Juki, Assembleon, Samsung, Tyco, JAM, NXP, Farnell and EPCOS were among the exhibitors.
Three high profile conferences took place alongside electronicIndia 2008. They began with a panel discussion on the opening day of the show with top management from EMS OEMs and ODMs – discussing “Business opportunities and Challenges in India” – with speakers from Jabil, Nokia, Dell, Siemens, Assembleon and NM Tronics. The other conferences were an Automotive Symposium and Electronics Tools and Design. Speakers from Siemens, OK international, Infineon presented to over 100 delegates. for each conference.
