Analog Devices will broadcast its Solving Embedded Design Challenges in Motor Control “webcast on May 18, 2011, at 17.00 GMT/18.00 CET. This 45-minute webcast is the latest tutorial in a monthly educational series by Analog Devices that covers a variety of design challenges for signal processing applications.
Motor control solutions are scattered into multiple application areas with individual requirements. However, with a scale of platform reuse and enhancement in mixed signal integration--it is today possible to use low cost processors to solve mathematical dense application tasks which were not possible few years ago. This webcast will introduce an applications overview of new design capabilities and design flow along with an open scale of system design for a large range of end solutions.

Topics to be covered in this presentation will include but are not limited to:

* Motor control applications overview
* High performance enhanced processors
* Graphical programming
* System optimisation and partitioning
* Ease of use design evaluation and implementation

Who Should Attend

Engineers and students new to the field, as well as those more experienced engineers looking for a tutorial on motor control design, will find this webcast very useful.

The Presenter

Anders Frederiksen is a segment marketing manager focused on industrial motor & power control technologies. Anders joined Analog Devices in 1998 after a 3 year industrial research period in sensorless vector control at the technical university of Denmark. He drives ADIs engagement in all aspects of industrial motor & power control--with particular focus on higher performance and more efficient control systems.
