With reflection prisms, total internal reflection is used to deflect beams or rotate images. Dispersion prisms in contrast are used to disperse and spectrally separate light.
The entrance and exit faces of reflection prisms are AR coated as standard and can be customised for different applications and wavelength ranges. Dispersion prisms can be used with or without a coating depending on the application. As with all of our laser optics, parts are deigned, produced, and optimised for custom applications.
