Transponder coils are 'world's smallest'
Compact EPCOS SMT transponder coils have been released by TDK. Measuring just 4.5x3.2x3.2mm, the TC1812 has an inductance of 2.38mH and is designed for operation in the Z-axis. The TC1210 coil is available with an inductance value of 1.08mH or 1.34mH, depending on type, and is suitable for operation in either the X- or Y-axis. According to the company, the TC1210 is the world’s smallest transponder coil, measuring just 3.2x2.5x2.2mm.
MLCCs operate up to +150°C
Designed for automotive applications, the VJ....31X series of MLCCs has been introduced by Vishay Intertechnology. Available with C0G, X7R and X8R dielectrics, in six body sizes ranging from 0402 to1812, the devices offer high voltages and high-temperature operation of up to +150°C for increased reliability.
EEPROMs are available in densities from 2KB to 512KB
Automotive-qualified serial EEPROMs in a 2x3mm WFDFPN8 package are now available from STMicroelectronics. The devices provide engineers maximum flexibility when designing highly integrated body controllers and gateways, as well as radar and camera modules for ADAS.

WiGig-based mmW mesh backhaul system promises cheap, fast data delivery
InterDigital, imec and Peraso Technologies have jointly announced the integration of their respective technologies into the world’s first WiGig-based mm-wave mesh backhaul system. The technology will enable easier deployments for small cell mobile backhaul, resulting in lower cost solutions for high-speed data delivery in 4G and 5G networks.
DC/DC converters meet EN 50155 railway requirements

The P9027 magnetic induction receiver offers 80% peak system level efficiency and improved overall thermal performance.
