Next month’s Aluminium China 2016 will see the launch of China’s first authoritative publication on the processing and purchasing of aluminium for consumer electronics. The whitepaper, published by Reed Exhibitions China, will provide a single point of reference for the scope and potential of aluminium in the consumer electronic sector and offer guidelines for material and technology suppliers as well as end users, to facilitate informed decision making.
With the aluminium industry facing oversupply, the international Aluminium China exhibition in Shanghai from 12th to 14th July will focus on applications for aluminium in key growth sectors such as consumer electronics, electrical and automotive, while also showcasing the latest deep processing technologies for aluminium and aluminium materials.
China has seen rapid growth in the consumer electronics sector in recent years, but very few Chinese companies can deliver complete end-to-end solutions for form-factor, product design and manufacturing. As a result, despite rising demand and increased aluminium production, the industry is still not fully meeting the growing demand from the electronics sector.
The whitepaper will provide an insight into the demand for aluminium processing technologies and materials from consumer electronics companies and explore their detailed requirements and purchasing characteristics. The paper will also review technologies currently available and propose suggestions for suppliers to shift their focus and help consumer electronics companies improve their material procurement and processing efficiency. The one-step whitepaper for suppliers and buyers is based on detailed research and investigation into changing demand patterns by Reed Exhibitions China and a number of renowned consultancy groups over the last few years.
Zang Xiaomeng, Senior Project Manager, Reed Exhibitions (China), commented: “The exhibition will showcase aluminium processing technologies and invite premium suppliers and buyers of aluminium for electronics to bridge the gap between consumer brands and aluminium processors. The forum for aluminium applications in consumer electronics will bring together material experts, major consumer electronics companies and electronics producers to share their views on the potential for innovative aluminium applications in electronics in order to upgrade material procurement processes for consumer electronic products and deliver a competitive edge in the sector.”
The success of the Aluminium China Exhibition lies in its innovative approach towards value-added applications for aluminium and focus on delivering an efficient and productive networking experience for international visitors.
