Solomon Systech Limited (“Solomon Systech”) will be displaying at Display Week 2016 Exhibition its broad lineup of display IC solutions well suited for various IoT devices, in particular wearables, smartphones and other smart applications including Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL), smart cards, automotive display, virtual reality devices, etc. The Display Week Exhibition this year will be held at Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, US, from 24-26 May.

Solomon Systech will be showcasing at its booth (No. 1234) the latest display IC solutions, of which highlights include:

As a market leader of PMOLED driver ICs, Solomon Systech offers a broad portfolio of PMOLED driver ICs supporting icon, dot matrix and character OLED panels for monochrome, grayscale and color display. They are available in both portrait and landscape orientations to cater to different product form factors and applications. In addition, our PMOLED driver ICs for high brightness display support curved or bendable panels, are best fit for the fast-growing wearable device applications, particularly health and fitness trackers for extensive outdoor usage.

Solomon Systech’s Bi-stable display driver IC with controller SSD1627 can drive up to 132 segments and enable color as well as black & white display. Designed for a wide voltage range and reduced number of external capacitor, SSD1627 also has new features enabling flexible panel routing, partial display update and fast content update to avoid refresh-induced blink. In addition, the low power consumption feature of SSD1627 makes it an ideal solution for handheld smart devices.

The Bi-stable display driver ICSSD1619 caters to the growing need for displaying more complex information, like QR code, while consuming minimal power. This versatile product, supporting a resolution of 400 Source x 300 Gate, is ideal for many consumer and industrial applications, including ESLs, mobile display, health care devices, public information and promotional signs, etc.

Supporting the advanced In-cell touch display technology, our Full HD In-Cell Touch Display Driver IC (TDDI) SSD2091 is an ideal solution addressing the growing need for cost-effective high performance smartphone applications with low power consumption and compact structure. It is an integrated solution embedding both display driver and touch analog front end. It features narrow module design (<2mm) and high signal-to-noise ratio (>50dB) to maximize touch accuracy/sensitivity performance and enhance low power consumption.

In addition to the above, Solomon Systech will also display its AMOLED Display Driver ICfor HD720 panels targeting smartphone applications; MIPI High Speed Bridge IC for display panels with resolution up to 2560 x 1800; TFT Display Driver IC supporting IGZO panel technology; and OLED Lighting Driver IC for OLED lighting and LED backlight applications, etc.
