Power electronics component evolution at PCIM

Global supplier of electronic components, KEMET, will showcase its KONNEKT, Flex Suppressor, DC-Link film and magnetics latest technologies to address the demanding power needs of fast-moving market sectors including wide-bandgap, vehicle electrification and power supply efficiency at this year’s PCIM Europe.

The Company continues to mark its 100th anniversary, and several features on the booth will reference KEMET’s history, development and growth. Displays and demonstrations will feature the Company’s broadened range of magnetic, inductive, EMI and U2J KONNEKT products amongst others. An interactive innovation table will allow visitors to experience new and upcoming technologies that will shape future power designs.

KEMET has played a role in driving passive component technology throughout its 100-year history. The Company now offers a broad and advanced range of tantalum, ceramic, film and electrolytic capacitors underpinned by a deep understanding and expertise in materials science.

Hands-on demonstrations at PCIM Europe will focus on KEMET’s latest products for key target markets. A further interactive timeline feature will allow visitors to experience the company’s 100-year journey and see how much technologies have evolved in that time.

Kemet can be found at PCIM Europe 2019, Nuremberg, 7th to 9th May, Hall 9, Stand 403.
