Conductive polymers from the Heraeus Clevios line reduce the sheet resistance on flexible and foldable touchscreens by more than 50%. This considerably improves conductivity and transmission for ultra-thin conductive display layers. Clevios HY E has thus become a key material for stably and reliably producing the next generation of foldable displays and smartphones. Heraeus will present this innovation at C-Touch in Shenzhen.

Pervasive Displays has announced samples available for four new, small size, high resolution, three colour, TFT active matrix EPD modules with iTC. The additions to the range are the 1.54-inch (E2154FS091), 2.13-inch (E2213FS091), 2.66-inch (E2266FS092) and 2.71-inch (E2271FS091) EPD modules. The displays’ extremely low power consumption, clarity and ease-of-integration make them ideal for signage and labeling in sectors such as retail, public displays and healthcare.

E-paper display company, Pervasive Displays (PDi), has announced that its ultra-low power displays have been incorporated into an IoT development board from Cypress Semiconductor that enables device designers to benefit from a human-readable screen requiring low amounts of power. Created for use in a variety of IoT applications, such as fitness and health wearables, smart home and smart metering, the Cypress PSoC 6 BLE Pioneer Kit helps engineers take advantage of the benefits of displays in their designs, without significantly impacting the power budgets.

KOE introduces 10.3-inch HD Rugged+ TFT display
Industrial LCD manufacturer KOE have announced the introduction of a 10.3-inch Rugged+ TFT display module. The TX26D206VM0BAA features HD (1920 x 720 pixels) resolution, a 8:3 wide aspect ratio, IPS (in-plane switching) technology which provides excellent image quality when viewed at any viewing angle, and an extended operating temperature range.
