Würth Elektronik has expanded its portfolio of wireless power coils. WE-WPCC WPT/NFC combines wireless power transmission with the Near Field Communication (NCF) standard thus enabling, for example, the combination of a charging station for smartphones with identification and payment functions.

Versatile temperature sensor comes in compact package

Although the WSEN-TIDS versatile temperature sensor from Würth Elektronik measures just 2.0x2.0x0.5mm, its range of application is wide: Its accuracy in the measuring range -40 to +125°C is ±0.5°C, while in the range -10 to +60°C it goes down to ±0.25°C.

Safe industrial radio applications

Würth Elektronik has presented the Bluetooth Low Energy 5.1 module Proteus-III and the proprietary version Thyone-I for safe industrial radio applications. The modules, measuring only 8x12x2mm, with integrated antenna, encryption technology and six configurable IO pins, are based on the Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 chipset.

Variable step down micro module family increases power

The MagI³C-VDMM (Variable Step Down Micro Module) power module family from Würth Elektronik is supplemented by more powerful 1 and 1.2A versions. The input voltage range (from 2.5 to 5.5V) covers the standard 3.3 and 5V bus voltages, and the adjustable output voltage ranges from 0.8 to 5.5V.

Low-resistance grounding of the cable shield

Under the product name WE-EEL, Würth Elektronik now offers cable clips made of aluminium sheet to enable stable grounded fixation of cables of various dimensions. Cables with diameters ranging from 2.5 to 20.5mm can now be simply affixed to circuit boards using clips in any of twelve different sizes and an M4 screw.
