A high-density, long-distance Panasonic pyroelectric sensor that complements and extends the EKMB and EKMC series of PIR Motion Sensors (PaPIRs) is available at TTI. It is ideal for use in all types of lighting control equipment, offices, high-bay motion sensors for warehouses, public and industrial buildings plus street lighting and security cameras.

TTI has acquired the privately held distributor Compona of Switzerland and the company’s German subsidiary Cosy Electronics. Both Compona and Cosy are specialty distributors of interconnect products and provide services such as in-house assembly of specific connector ranges and full support on custom cable harnesses.

Now available in Europe through TTI are CX series SIP solid-state relays from Sensata that are ideally suited for high density PCB applications where a maximum of 5A of current is required. The components utilise a back-to-back SCR output which provides added reliability in commercial and heavy industrial applications.

The HPM series particle sensor from Honeywell can now be sourced in Europe through TTI. The product is designed to work in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and consumer products such air purifiers to measure air quality in homes, buildings and public spaces.

TTI has named Marc Winfield to the new position of Vice President Sales for Europe.He will be responsible for all of TTI’s European sales activities and will lead a team of Regional VPs and Directors as well as continue the development with key strategic global & regional customers.

Now available in Europe through TTI are Panasonic’s power efficient LP-Series power choke coils and ZE-Series Conductive Polymer Hybrid Aluminum SMD technology capacitors featuring a high ripple current (up to 2.0A) and a low ESR value. Rugged LP series power choke coils offer inductance stability over a broad temperature range, have low power losses and a low audible (buzz) noise.  

The LTKAK Series TVS Diodes from Littelfuse is now available in Europe through TTI. Offering superior clamping characteristics compared to standard silicon avalanche diodes, the LTKAK Series features Littelfuse Foldbak technology, which provides a clamping voltage lower than avalanche voltage but above rated working voltage.

Now available in Europe through TTI are small isolated DC-DC converters from Murata for renewable energy applications. The components provide a unique miniaturised solution to reduce design complexity and time-to-market. They provide the power and performance characteristics needed to support the harsh requirements over alternative methods.

Now available in Europe through TTI is Vishay’s 60V MOSFET SiR626DP. The product elevates DC/DC efficiency and performance across the load with minimum circuit rework. Peak efficiency is up to 15% higher than competition. Power loss and power savings are more than 12% higher.

  The GBS Series Vitreous Resistors with Corrugated Ribbon from Vishay can now be sourced in Europe through TTI. The vitreous wirewound resistors boast a completely welded construction and can be used to provide high continuous power dissipation up to 1,000W. High pulse power capability makes the devices a suitable choice for inrush limiters.

Available in Europe from distributor TTI are TE Connectivity’s Dynamic Series connector solutions. These are designed for use in high density, signal and power applications for control systems. 

Now available in Europe through TTI are ALS70 and ALS80 series high CV screw terminal electrolytic capacitors from KEMET. The products are ideal for use in frequency converters, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and switch mode power supplies (SMPS) in challenging electrical and environmental applications including rail.

The product provides a maximum recognition speed that is 10 times faster than previous Human Vision Components (HVC) system sensors from Omron. It features Omron’s OKAO vision technology for recognising human face expression, gender, age, gaze, and blink into a camera module.  

TTI has signed a pan-European franchise agreement with Alps Electric. Alps developed the first TACT Switches and offer a range of TACT Switch varieties that offer a specific ‘feel’ for different applications, as well as reliable contacts with a three dimple dome design to give better dust resistance.
