SCHURTER presents the new waterproof IEC connector consisting of the appliance inlet type 4761 and the rewireable cord connector type 4762. With its high protection class IP 67 or IP 69K connected or unconnected with cover, this appliance coupler is perfect for supplying power to appliances used in harsh environments such as industrial, marine, laboratories or any type of outdoor appliances.

  Expanding the existing series, SCHURTER's popular filtered appliance inlet, 5120 series, is now available with a plastic flange. It also features a flat front design, which offers an attractive modern-looking alternative to like products on the market.

SCHURTER has expanded its T9 fuseholder style circuit breaker series to include a version for vertical PCB mounting. The MSM CS and MSM LA CS series metal pushbutton switches from SCHURTER are available in the diameters of 19 and 22mm. The 0.1 and 10A switching function of the MSM CS series is momentary, while the 12A switching function for the MSM LA CS is latching. The scratch resistant ceramics surface is also great for laser lettering.

SCHURTER’s SHT 6.3x32 fuse provides higher voltage overcurrent and short circuit protection up to 1500A at 500VAC and 400VDC in a universally accepted compact package size 6.3x32mm. The compact high performance fuse is suited for primary AC circuit protection in 3-phase systems, HVAC systems, lighting and other industrial building and automation systems. 

With a long history of innovation in the connector and EMC marketplace, SCHURTER expands its range of power entry modules with the introduction of the FMAD and FMAB CEE connectors, featuring a first of its kind integrated line filter for 1- and 3-phase industrial and power distribution applications. The integrated filter optimises suppression of conducted emissions by eliminating cables between the inlet and filter.

The range of current compensated chokes from Schurter has been expanded with high current types for PCB mounting. The new DKIH series is now available with a nanocrystalline ring core, offering eight times higher inductance performance than ferrite core versions in the same compact dimension.

The FMAB NEO range of single-phase filters from Schurter has been expanded with new designs. The P and Q series extends the range of current ratings up to 60A, with an extended temperature range from -40°C to 100°C.

The fuseholder standard IEC/EN 60127-6 has been revised to improve fire safety. Effective in October 2017, manufacturers of fuseholders will only be permitted to market products that have been tested and authorised in accordance with the updated standard. SCHURTER expands its CSO heavy duty fuse clip family with a cost-effective tin-plated version. The CSO clip, designed for 10.3 mm diameter fuses, is suitable for applications with voltages up to 1500VAC/VDC and currents to 32A. These unique characteristics are SCHURTER's response to the increasing photovoltaic system voltage requirements.

SCHURTER expands its wide range of power entry modules to include versions, without ground pin, for use in protection class II double-insulated applications.   SCHURTER announces its latest IEC appliance outlet with insulation displacement contact (IDC) terminals, the 4710. The outlet provides increased power ratings over the popular 6610 series for heavier duty PDU applications. The 4710 is a J style outlet according to IEC 60320, rated 20A at 250VAC by UL/CSA and 16A at 250VAC by ENEC. 

SCHURTER is expanding its PSE, piezo metal switch and MCS 30, mechanical metal switch series, with new illumination possibilities powered by variable input voltages. Based on the used RGB colour technology, it’s now possible to indicate up to seven illumination colour options with just one switch. The variable power supply offers a homogenous and brilliant illumination within a voltage range of 5 to 28VDC.

SCHURTER’s popular power entry module, KFA series, is now equipped with an additional ground line choke to suppress high frequency interference arising from ground loops on the ground line. In addition, the recently added ground line choke improves asymmetric attenuation in higher frequencies in medical filter versions.

When it comes to household appliances used in unattended operation, the provisions of standard IEC 60335-1 have placed higher requirements regarding Glow-Wire Ignition Temperature (GWIT). These more stringent requirements thus also apply to installed components such as power sockets, fuse holders and connectors. For this reason, all components carrying current must meet the requirements of glow-wire tests as specified in IEC 60695-2-12 and -13.

SCHURTER has announced that its PSE HI switches can now be delivered with raised symbols, letters and numbers in addition to various colours, or legend inscriptions. The switches feature an anodised aluminium surface that can be pre-formed with raised symbols for long-term wear and excellent user haptics.

SCHURTER is pleased to announce that its power entry module series 5707 now offers IP54 protection with V-Lock cord sets at the power input, in addition to IP65 protection to the equipment.
