Narrow Band Multi-Channel Radio Module

Radiometrix has introduced a new addition to its widely applicable, low cost LMT2/LMR2 transmitter/receiver series. Making use of the 458.525-459.1MHz UK frequency band (instead of the 433.875-434.650MHz EU band utilised in the previous versions), these higher power radio modules manage to increase the distance over which they can communicate to as much as 1km. This allows engineers to enhance systems that previously had insufficient range (or in...

Vibration Resistant ISM Radio Module

Aimed at applications where RF engineers need to consider the interference effects of nearby vibrating machinery, Radiometrix has developed the HVR2 receiver. The HVR2 radio receiver module (a high vibration resistant version of the Radiometrix RLC2) utilises the company’s proprietary hybrid Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) local oscillator design to make it almost totally immune to mechanical vibrations at frequencies below 500Hz. When used in...

ISM Radio Modules Allow trouble-free implementation of wireless control functions

There are certain user applications where very simple ‘on/off’ control functions are all that are needed. Common examples, such as long-range lighting controls, alarm sounders, or machine shutdown safety systems, will normally require a microprocessor or dedicated remote control IC in addition to the radio module itself. Having to include such chips will incur extra cost, expand the system size, and increase the software overhead. This is cle...

Single Channel Narrowband Radio Receiver

The Radiometrix NRX1 is a VHF equivalent of the company’s track-proven UHF NRX2 radio data receiver, but allows engineers to gain extra reach with their system designs. Its usable range exceeds the 10km mark, when a matching transmitter is employed. The modules come in standard frequencies of 151.3000, 169.4125, 173.2250 and 173.2500MHz, though other custom frequencies ranging from 120 to 180MHz are available to order. They can be used for lice...

Narrow band multi-channel transmitter and receiver pair

Radiometrix Ltd has launched a new range of narrow band multi-channel products ( LMT2 and LMR2) which offer OEMs a multi-channel, power-conservative, reliable data link. This transmitter and receiver pair are highly-suited to low-power applications where existing wideband modules lack the necessary range, or where low-cost multi-channel operation is required without causing any compromise to the system’s RF functionality.
