Pixus Technologies announced new 3U OpenVPX backplanes in 5-slot and 6-slot sizes. The 5-slot OpenVPX backplane from Pixus features a mesh topology. The versatile backplane topology and slot size makes it an attractive choice for many development systems.

Pixus Technologies now offers 40G AdvancedTCA backplanes in the 6-slot and 14-slot sizes. The 40G ATCA backplanes from Pixus Technologies are designed to PICMG 3.0 Rev 3.0 specifications. The 6 slot version features dual pluggable shelf manager/switch connections.

Pixus Technologies announces the introduction of Eurocard subracks for 3U and 6U boards in multiple configurations. The subrack enclosures can house backplanes or special modules for industrial, mil/aero, communications, medical, energy, and test/measurement industries.

Pixus Technologies is now offering enclosures with the subrack recessed within the enclosure frame for additional protection, including EMC considerations. Pixus’ new enclosure option can be recessed in various depths according to the customer’s requirements.

Pixus Technologies now offers Austin Turnbull Radio enclosure solutions for avionics and other applications. The first in the series is a conduction-cooled 1/2 ATR short, developed utilizing the frame from partner Wakefield-Vette.
