Omron shrinks FPC connectors
Omron has further miniaturised its FPC connector portfolio, with the introduction of a new ultra-low profile version that is just 0.5mm thick fully assembled, as well as a solution offering a reduced footprint, based on the smallest ever front-back depth.
Capacitative touch control IC family has new 16-channel version
Omron Electronic Components Business Europe (OCB-EU) has extended its capacitative Touch Control IC family with a new 16-channel version. Omron’s B6TS touch sensors allow a non-conducting surface of any shape to be used as a control giving a new dimension to the styling of consumer brown and white goods and AV equipment, as well as vending machines, lift controls and security access.
Omron extends air/gas flow sensor range
Omron has added a more compact and lower cost version to its range of air and gas flow sensors, designed to detect clogged air intake filters and air velocity flows in office automation equipment, domestic air purifiers and coolers, and HVAC applications. The new sensors offer a monitoring solution at below the cost of a Pitot tube.
