The British company L-Charge is launching its commercial operation of the world’s first mobile, ultra-fast, off-grid EV-charging service in Amsterdam. The main feature of the service is that the charger could be called up as a taxi service and charge an EV in any place on demand. The company will also consider investing in the city's charging infrastructure in the near future.

L-Charge has been recognised for the development of a fast, off-grid, mobile EV-charging solution that uses clean fuels to generate power onboard, eliminating the need for any power grid connection.

L-Charge was represented at the show among other world-renowned names, highlighting how its unique charging solutions (including the stationary and mobile charging stations, that generate onboard power via a hydrogen fuel cell or gas-fuelled generator) offer companies from key sectors unique advantages such as less cost intensive high speed charging solutions, asset flexibility and the ability to enhance their sustainability credentials.
