Hawke launches new generation of cable glands

Hawke International has launched its Rapid Connection Gland (RCG) range, offering rapid termination and disconnection solutions in a cost-effective package that significantly reduces ownership expenses. Hawke International, a division of the Hubbell Harsh & Hazardous Group, has developed the range to enable quick field connections of cables to equipment in instances where historically, hard wiring methods would have been required.

Hawke to host event on cable gland compound pots

Hawke International has announced that it is hosting a live, interactive, online Q&A on cable gland compound pots. The 45-minute session, to be held at 3pm (GMT) on Tuesday 1st December, will be led by a panel of experts from Hawke International, who will discuss the limitations of using cable glands with metallic compound pots, and the benefits delivered by transparent, non-metallic alternatives.

The first key innovation is around Hawke’s Universal 501/453 cold flow compliant cable gland, the company has developed a special conversion kit which enables the Universal to be easily converted into a barrier gland.
