Embedded Office is taking part in the fourth civil aviation research programme, LUFO IV.4, funded by the German Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi). This research project is designed to strengthen the technological basis of aviation research in Germany and underscore the significance of aviation as a high-tech sector.

Embedded Office is now offering its µC/OS-MPU Cert-Kits for the Hercules TMS570LS31x/21x and Hercules RM48 MCUs from Texas Instruments. The Cert-Kits include integration with TI’s SafeTI Hercules Diagnostic Library and HALCoGen tool, which features device-level initialisation and peripheral drivers.

A range of Cet-Kits, which support ARM 9, C166, C166SV2, Cortex A9, Cortex M3, Cortex M4F, Cortex R4F, PPC e200 and PPC e500 MCUs, has been introduced by Embedded Office. In addition to the certificate and the documentation for the certification, the Cert-Kits also comprise an executable system along with a complete validation software solution.

To simplify and speed up the certification and licensing process for FPGAs which must meet standards such as IEC 61508, Embedded Office has adapted its µC/OS-MPU Cert-Kit to Altera’s Cyclone V SoCs using the ARM Cortex-A9 processor, and moulded this into a starter kit.
