An SDR approach to developing a state-of-the-art P25 radio

CML Microcircuits has announced the introduction of the CMX994E enhanced performance Direct Conversion Receiver IC. The CMX994E provides an optimum solution for a Software Defined Radio (SDR) approach to developing a state-of-the-art P25 radio. Direct conversion receiver ICs feature I/Q demodulators

CML Microcircuits has released the CMX994A and CMX994E Direct Conversion Receiver (DCRx) ICs. The CMX994A and CMX994E are RF receiver ICs featuring I/Q demodulators with low power consumption and high performance features. These devices are targeting next-gen narrowband and wideband SDR for wireless data and two-way radio applications.

Modem balances integration & performance

CML Microcircuits has released the V.23 Modem Function Image, further increasing the capabilities of the company's CMX7164 Multi-mode Wireless Data Modem portfolio. The V.23 modem enables communication with legacy Telecom systems to support 1200 baud 1 to 8B data blocks with start bit, stop bit and parity generation in transmit and start bit, stop bit and parity checking and removal in receive.

Radio platform fits all

16-FSK modulation added to wireless data modem IC

CML Microcircuits announced that it has added 16-FSK modulation to the CMX7164 multi-mode wireless data modem portfolio. The addition of 16-FSK constant envelope modulation further enhances the flexibility of this modem IC, enabling telemetry systems to evolve into higher data throughput without the need to move to a linear modulation scenario.

Digital radio processor for two-slot TDMA systems

CML Microcircuits has released a new low-power, Digital Radio Processor specifically targeted at 2-slot TDMA digital radio systems, including Digital Mobile Radio. The new CMX7161 is built on CML’s FirmASIC technology with Function Image 7161FI-1.x implementing a high performance half duplex digital radio modem complying with the ETSI TS 102 361 DMR standard.

Precise Positioning With CML Microcircuits' Multi-Mode Two-Way Radio Processors

CML Release The CMX972 Quadrature Demodulator With PLL And VCO

The new CMX972 features a low-power IF/RF Quadrature Demodulator with PLL/VCO, a wide operating frequency range and optimised power consumption. The demodulator is suitable for superheterodyne architectures with IF frequencies up to 300MHz and the device may be used in low IF systems or in those converting down to baseband.
